NYC Citywide planning meeting for the March on the Pentagon
Join us Wednesday, Feb. 28th, at Community Church
Come to a citywide meeting on February 28 to get involved with the New York City organizing efforts to build for the National March on the Pentagon. We previously announced that the meeting would be at Judson Memorial. In fact, it will take place at Community Church.
Wednesday, Feb 28, 7pm
40 East 35th Street
Between Park and Madison
More than 150 cities and towns, and a growing number of college campuses and high schools are organizing buses to come to Washington D.C on March 17th. The protest will mark the fourth anniversary of the start of the invasion of Iraq, and the 40th anniversary of the historic 1967 March on the Pentagon. The number of transportation centers bringing buses has nearly doubled in just this past week and there are a dozen bus departure locations from New York City, and the Tri-state area alone.
The antiwar movement and the Impeach Bush movement are joining forces to mobilize for the March on the Pentagon. All individuals and organizations that are already building or are interested in building for the March on the Pentagon are welcome to attend the meeting. The meeting will be hosted by the ANSWER Coalition, World Can't Wait, and the Hip Hop Caucus.
