Gaza is calling. Suffering from blockade and siege the people of Gaza need the world to act. The Palestinian people are doing their part. They are steadfast and strong. Now is the time for each and every one of us to do our part. We must act!

The Obama administration must hear the voice of the people. Demonstrations, humanitarian aid caravans and divestment campaigns are being organized.

With less than four weeks to go, people from across the East Coast and near Midwest are making plans to come by bus, train, plane and car caravan to Washington, D.C. on June 6, 2009 - the 42nd anniversary of Israel's seizure of Gaza - to stand in solidarity with those still suffering in Gaza.

The people of Gaza are attempting to rebuild their lives and city after the merciless bombing carried out by Israel. During the 22-day massacre in December and January, more than 1,400 Palestinians - at least one-third of whom were children - were killed.

Israel has continued to enforce a near-total ban on all imports and exports with limited exceptions. Israel has refused to allow even one truckload of cement into Gaza so that homes and businesses can be rebuilt. Months after the bombing campaign, people are still living in tents and are scarcely able to secure the necessities of life.

Tell your family and friends to join us in Washington, D.C. to demand: End the Siege of Gaza. We will also stand for all Palestinian people's inalienable right to return to their homes from which they were evicted. Let your voice be heard.
