In the last month these struggles have increased the pressure to win raises, rights and respect with dramatic tactics including sit-in strikes, sit-down strikes, picket lines, and unprecedented waves of strikes actions at the port and with a mass march for $15 per hour.

Taken together they represent a new movement for justice for all. Their actions are helping to lift up the whole community.
