February 21, 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the great African American leader Malcolm X.

Join us in commemorating his life and struggle with a special showing of the 1972 documentary, “Malcolm X,” narrated by James Earl Jones, and featuring actor and activist Ossie Davis, who delivered the main eulogy at Malcolm X’s funeral.

This historic film includes footage of Malcolm X’s speeches and interviews and was adapted from “The Autobiography of Malcolm X” with the assistance of Alex Haley in association with Betty Shabazz, the widow of Malcolm X.

Among those interviewed in the film are Muhammad Ali, Angela Davis, Stokely Carmichael, Charles Garry, Ella Collins, H. Rap Brown (Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin), John Carlos, Vida Blue, Lee Evans and Ronald Freeman.
