We’re less than two weeks away from the August 26th march and rally to defend women’s rights! On August 26th, national Women’s Equality Day, women and our allies will take to the streets in Los Angeles and other cities across the United States to stand up and fight back against the attacks on our rights.
If you can’t make it to Tampa or to Charlotte to protest, stay in LA and march with us - let the politicians know that we will not be silent while they play political football with our rights and our lives!
Volunteers are needed to make this demonstration a success. A new feminist movement is growing, and it’s not too late to volunteer and get involved!
Join us for an important volunteer meeting on Saturday, August 18th. This meeting will be a great opportunity to connect with other activists and organizers and find out how you can help build the movement to defend women’s rights in Los Angeles. Come, bring your friends and join us for street outreach immediately following the meeting.
Pick up materials: stickers, posters and flyers – help us spread the word! If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can still help build this march. We have plenty of outreach materials at our office. Let us know if you’d like to stop by and pick some up. We have stickers, flyers and posters available: everything you need to form your own outreach team and spread the word in your area! You can also download flyers to print.
