The ANSWER Coalition joined thousands of people in the annual San Francisco march honoring the legacy and struggle of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The 1.6-mile march proceeded from China Basin to Yerba Buena Gardens, site of a memorial to Dr. King. ANSWER volunteers carried a beautiful, hand-painted banner and distributed over 1,000 palm cards for the upcoming ANSWER Film Series showing of the inspiring documentary “Freedom Riders.
