Mr. Musavuli’s visit to San Francisco is part of a nationwide “Breaking the Silence” speaking tour. The program will also include the new film, “Crisis in the Congo: Uncovering the Truth.”

Millions of Congolese people have been killed over the past half century, due mainly to foreign intervention by the U.S., Belgium, France and other foreign powers seeking to control the country’s vast mineral wealth.
