Come express yourself. Share your ideas. Sing, Dance, engage in Spoken Word. Bring your talents! This is a place of individual creativity and collective empowerment.

With elections just a few weeks away so many of our people are disengaged, and understandably so. The two mainstream choices being offered represent bigotry, war and the status quo, while alternative voices have been silenced! Rather than a system that empowers and inspires people, millions of people people will be voting for a "lesser evil" simply out of fear for a greater evil. We know that whoever will be President we will have to struggle in the years ahead -- and the people are uniting to confront that challenge. 

Liberation Mic brings together our community with the arts. We heal and we grow stronger with our arts as we prepare to press on in our movements for Black Lives, in our indigenous struggles, for women's liberation, for LGBTQ liberation, for Palestine, and all the social struggles to advance the interests of working people. 

For centuries the ruling class has tried to silence the voice of oppressed people, but we know that will never succeed. Liberation Mic is a time to project our unity and our unbreakable connection to previous generations of struggle. Our features will include spoken word artists, singers, steppers, and much more.

Every month is The People's month and every day is a fresh start for a revolutionary beginning!
