The non-indictment of Darren Wilson is a travesty of justice. It is clear that the government has given impunity to the police, who kill and brutalize Black and Latino youth. 

People in Ferguson, across the United States and around the world are outraged at this decision and are going into the streets to demand an end to police terror. Their rights should not be abridged in any way by police.

“Every 28 hours a Black person is killed by a police officer, security guard, or vigilante in America” said ANSWER organizer Eugene Puryear. “There is an epidemic of police terror in the United States, a terror that afflicts Black and Brown communities to a greater degree than any other. It is absolutely imperative that those who believe in basic justice and human rights join the chorus of voices demanding fundamental change. No more impunity for police killers. The ANSWER Coalition joins with the thousands of people across the country in the streets to demand justice.”
