Flood the Subways!

Spread the word about MLK, download our flyer to take on the trains!

Flood the Subways with your signs and your voices on Jan. 15. To truly honor Dr. King’s birthday means standing strong and speaking out!

Every high school, college and community can do this — to and from school or work. Everyone can flood the Subway with their message, their chants, and their signs.

This event is in solidarity with the other actions taking place on Thursday across NYC. If you are going to another action (African Burial Grounds, 1pm; Grand Central 6:30pm; or any other event), this is something you can do on the way to and from!

In the name of Mike Brown, Eric Garner and all the victims, take to the trains with your friends, speak out, lead chants against racism, pass out literature, and bring your signs. It is legal to do so. Show the whole city and country — We will not be silent!

Need ideas for what to say on the subway? Download our sample train pitch!

Remember to take pictures and use #FloodtheSubways on social media!
