Netanyahu & Biden Restart the Genocide: Take to the Streets for Gaza!
Right now, Israeli warplanes are raining missiles and bombs down on Gaza, murdering civilians by the hundreds. On the ground, Israeli troops are resuming their rampage through some of the most densely populated residential areas on Earth. This is taking place with the full backing of the U.S. government. The Biden administration and Israel have ignored the demands from the people of the world for a permanent ceasefire, now we must take to the streets with even more intensity than before to stop the genocide!
Emergency actions are taking place in many cities today in response to the end of the "pause" in fighting. In New York City, protesters with the Shut It Down for Palestine movement will be gathering at 5:00 p.m. at the steps of the New York Public Library in Bryant Park. In Denver, protesters will be picketing all day at the Colorado Convention Center, where the "Global Conference for Israel" is being held. Tomorrow in Boston, a demonstration will take place at 12:00 p.m. in Copley Square. Many other actions will be announced soon.

The Israeli war machine is going back to its slaughter in Gaza immediately following a visit to Israel from Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Blinken joined a meeting of Israel's war cabinet, and then spoke to reporters where he emphasized the U.S. government's support for Israel's so-called right to defend itself as well as the Israeli military's goal of crushing the Palestinian resistance. What is really going on is a campaign to drive Palestinians out of Gaza using overwhelming violence.
In the face of the horrors unleashed by Biden and Netanyahu, the Palestinian people remain steadfast. The people of the world -- and the majority of people in the United States -- want a ceasefire now. International solidarity is key to ending the genocide, to freeing all Palestinian prisoners, to ending the occupation and ultimately winning a free Palestine. Take to the streets!
