Trump’s unprovoked bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities is an outright war crime. It violates the UN Charter, international law and the U.S. Constitution. It threatens to set into motion a regional or even global war with massive casualties, nuclear radiation, and catastrophic consequences.
The people of the United States and the world reject this new war of aggression, and will hold emergency mobilizations in the streets across the United States on Sunday, June 22. This is the critical moment to say NO to yet another war to “remake” the Middle East and steal the region’s vast natural resources.
Trump lied during the campaign when he said he was going to end the “forever wars” and bring about peace. He and Netanyahu have repeatedly lied about an Iranian nuclear weapons program. He is no different from George W. Bush who lied about "weapons of mass destruction” to initiate the catastrophic war in Iraq.
The ANSWER Coalition, Palestinian Youth Movement, The People's Forum, National Iranian American Council and many other organizations are joining together to organize these actions.
We demand an immediate end to US and Israeli attacks on Iran and its sovereignty. The people of the United States want more funding for health care, education and infrastructure. Instead, Trump and his war hawks are launching a new war that puts the world at risk, will cause the bloodshed of Iranians (and ultimately Americans) and only benefits the military-industrial complex.
The people say NO!

Trump may be about to drag the United States directly into a devastating regional war in the Middle East with an attack on Iran. In these critical days and hours, all people who oppose the war machine need to be in the streets! Protests across the country will take place tomorrow, June 18, as part of a national day of action.
Register your protest here
Already, the administration has backed the brutal Israeli bombardment that has caused widespread civilian casualties -- carried out with an arsenal paid for with our taxpayer dollars. But now, Trump may be on the verge of ordering direct U.S. strikes that would escalate the war to unspeakably dangerous new heights. U.S. "boots on the ground" could easily be drawn in, and war could ripple across the entire region or even the whole world. We need to take a stand and prevent this from becoming a reality!
After having committed genocide in Gaza for nearly two years, the Israeli regime is now igniting an even wider war across the Middle East with its unprovoked attack against Iran. And regime change in Iran -- which controls vast oil and gas resources -- has been a long-standing goal of the Pentagon and the State Department establishment. But the people of this country have nothing to gain and so much to lose if the warmongers get their way.

Call your representative and Senators in Congress right now to demand they vote in favor of the War Powers Act resolution that will be debated and voted on in the coming days.
Mass opposition is growing to the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran. We have been in the streets in the past week condemning this act of aggression alongside millions of people who oppose Trump's agenda, and we are planning for other actions later this week. In the coming hours, a rare debate will unfold in Congress on a measure that would prohibit Trump from ordering an all-out U.S. attack on Iran. This is a moment when we need to use every avenue possible to make it clear that millions of people reject this drive to war.
Only Congress has the power to declare war under the Constitution. If Trump were to unilaterally start a new war, it would be illegal under both international and U.S. law. Although over the years Congress has routinely capitulated to the White House on issues of war and peace, the War Powers Act remains an important tool to reign in unilateral military actions by the president. The majority of people in this country do not want to start another endless war -- we need to make sure every politician in Washington votes with that fact on their mind.
