On Sept. 27 and 28, protesters gathered across the country to denounce the FBI raids targeting political activists in Illinois and Minnesota, and the intimidation of activists there and elsewhere, kicking off several days of planned actions.
The government wants all activists to be afraid to speak out, but we cannot allow the government to stamp out the right of people to advocate for their political beliefs. Click here to find a demonstration in your area.

Vote Now for Grassroots KPFK Candidates
The ANSWER Coalition unequivocally condemns today's FBI raids on the homes of anti-war and solidarity activists in Illinois and Minnesota, and the intimidation of activists there and elsewhere.
Thousands of people rallied today in lower Manhattan in defense of the Muslim, Arab American and South Asian communities that have been increasingly demonized in recent months.
The San Francisco Labor Council has just passed a resolution in support of Iraq war veteran and accused whistleblower Bradley Manning. This important development comes on the heels of a demonstration this past Sunday outside of the Quantico Marine Base in Virginia, where Manning is being held.
