World-renowned political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal's case was in court August 30 in Philadelphia. He will be back in court in October. Keep up the struggle for his freedom!

This discovery order represents a significant development in the struggle to restore Mumia’s appellate rights and, eventually, to overturn his wrongful conviction in the 1981 shooting of a Philadelphia police officer.

New medical records documenting Mumia’s deteriorated condition from February and March, will be presented June 6th.

From April 22 to 24, a series of actions will be held in Philadelphia, Penn. to demand freedom for Mumia Abu-Jamal and justice for all prisoners who are being denied adequate medical care.

U.S. Federal District Court Judge Robert Mariani will conduct am extensive public hearing on Mumia's medical crisis and he has asked for a testimony from Mumia.

Mumia received a notice that the final appeal of his Penn. Department of Corrections grievance was denied

The proposed order is clearly an attempt to subvert justice and delay critical treatment for Mumia Abu-Jamal.

The prison administration is continuing to deny Mumia all treatment.

Treatment for hep C has a 95% cure rate. By withholding medication, the Department of Corrections would like to see this become a death sentence.

Attorneys for political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal filed an amended lawsuit Aug. 2 in the Middle District of Pennsylvania federal court to challenge prison medical staff's denial of necessary medical treatment - denial that nearly killed Abu-Jamal earlier this year.
