The ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) joined dozens of community organizations for the seventh straight year at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace & Freedom Walk in Washington, D.C., on January 19.
The largest demonstration yet against the NYPD's racist Stop and Frisk policy will take place this Sunday, June 17 in Harlem. Tens of thousands of people are expected to take to the streets for a Silent March initiated by 1199SEIU and the National Action Network.

Hundreds gathered in DC's Malcolm X Park and then marched chanting "Trayvon Martin, Emmett Till, how many more will you kill?" In Los Angeles, ANSWER LA worked with residents of Watts and South Central to organize a community rally to demand justice for Trayvon Martin.
Outrage has swept the country over the racist killing of Trayvon Martin. To win justice for Trayvon, individuals and organizations across the country, including the ANSWER Coalition, are mobilizing from coast to coast.
