On March 7th through 10th, in celebration of International Women's Day, women across the United States and around the world will take the streets to demand an end to violence against women. From India to Ohio, people are rising up to demand equality and an end to the violent oppression of women.
Women in the military deserve full equality, to be treated with dignity and respect. Women service members also have the right to refuse to participate in immoral, unjust wars that perpetuate women’s oppression globally.
The ANSWER Coalition is actively supporting the March 8-9 International Women's Day demonstrations called by Women Organized to Resist and Defend (WORD). We encourage all of our members and supporters to participate.
