The ANSWER Coalition joined Local 2, the union which represents hotel and restaurant workers in San Francisco and San Mateo counties, and other labor groups in a showing of community and labor solidarity.

Low-wage workers and supporters organized historic actions April 15 to demand a $15 an hour minimum wage and a union. Tens of thousands responded to the call in over 300 cities around the world.
