End the US-backed war on Yemen!

On March 20, the Senate voted 44 to 56 to defeat a bipartisan joint resolution to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities between the Saudi-led coalition and the Houthis in Yemen pursuant to the War Powers Resolution.

The ANSWER Coalition demands that the United States and its junior partners in Saudi Arabia immediately cease their aggression in Yemen, Lebanon and everywhere else in the Middle East.

The United States has been supporting the Saudi bombing campaign—which has killed 4,000 civilians and created a massive humanitarian crisis—since its inception.

The meeting was meant to repair what has lately been a turbulent relationship between the U.S. government and its traditional clients in the Middle East. Instead, the meeting ended up publicly highlighting these tensions in an embarrassing reminder of the declining hegemony of U.S. imperialism

The bombardment and possible ground invasion of Yemen by an imperialist-backed foreign power is a massive violation of Yemeni sovereignty
