Hundreds of activists all over the country have already signed up as volunteers to help spread the word about the September 24 Mass March in Washington DC and the coordinated actions in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In many cities, Street Outreach Teams are going out this weekend to hand out flyers and put up posters (see below for details and contacts). You can contact a local A.N.S.W.E.R. office to meet up with others and form a Street Outreach Team, get together with a friend or two, or head out on your own to talk to people about the U.S. war drive and the mass mobilization taking place September 24. If you can't make it this Saturday, June 11, give us a call to make plans for next weekend. We also have downloadable flyers on the website so you can head out any day with information in hand.

Let's spread the word: Stop the War in Iraq! End Colonial Occupation from Iraq to Palestine to Haiti and Everywhere! U.S. troops should be brought home now. We will support the right of the Iraqi people to live free from foreign domination, the right of the Palestinian people to return, and the right of all people everywhere to live free from war and the ever-present threats emanating from the Bush White House.

Wherever you are, print out the flyer, make copies and spread the word. You can hand out flyers at any busy location - a street corner, a public transportation point during rush hour, a market, a street fair, a movie theater, a progressive event - any place where there are people. Put up posters on street corners, in bookstores, laundromats, coffee shops, libraries, at schools, and wherever you can find a bulletin board.

Washington DC

New York City 

Spread the word about bus transportation from NYC to DC on September 24: Meet on Saturday, June 11 at 145th St. and Broadway at 12 noon. Call 212-533-0417 or email [email protected] to sign up.

San Francisco

Meet at 11 am on Saturday, June 11 at the A.N.S.W.E.R. office: 2489 Mission St. Room 24 (at 21st) in San Francisco. Teams of two or three people will be dispatched to put up posters around the city. Los Angeles
