A.N.S.W.E.R. Organizing Meeting!
Become a Volunteer and Organizer
for the Sept. 24 March on Washington!
The September 24th antiwar mobilization is taking off. Fueled by the growing opposition to Bush's criminal war, activists from all over the country are organizing to go to Washington D.C., converge on the White House and demand:
"Stop the War in Iraq!
Bring the Troops Home Now!
End Colonial Occupation from Iraq to Haiti to Palestine and Everywhere!"
There are only two months to go before the demonstration, and everyone is now in high gear. We expect a massive outpouring of opposition on September 24th, but organizing hundreds of thousands of people takes work. The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition invites you to the:
A.N.S.W.E.R.-New York Organizing Meeting |
This will be the very first event in A.N.S.W.E.R.'s new New York City office! We've been working tirelessly over the last few weeks to get it into shape, and now we're ready to start building! In order to make the very most of the September 24th mobilization, we're going to need lots of volunteers to distribute flyers, organize transportation to DC, and put up posters. Our goal is to spread the word to every workplace, campus, and community center. Come get involved!
And on another note, there's a party!
Youth and Student A.N.S.W.E.R. in New York is sending three delegates to take the antiwar, anti-imperialist message from the United States to this year's World Youth Festival in Caracas, Venezuela. We're having a party Friday, July 22, to raise funds for the delegates' airfare costs. If you can't join us, please consider making a donation on our secure server, where you can also obtain information to write a check. Come party with us Friday, and build with us Saturday!
