about the September 24 demonstration
This week outreach teams will be handing out flyers about the September 24 demonstration at metro stations in DC, Maryland and Virginia during rush hour (approximately 7:30-9:30 am and 4:30-6:30 pm). You do not have to commit to the entire two hour period. If you can leaflet for any amount of time from 30 minutes to 2 hours, please sign up for the amount of time that you are available. You can use the form below to sign up for any day during the next week - please select a metro station, the time you can arrive, the time you have to leave and whether you would like someone to meet you. If you would like to go to a different metro station or at a different time than the options below, please note that in the comments section at the bottom.
If you submit this form, someone from the DC A.N.S.W.E.R. office will contact you by email or phone, and meet you at the time and place you specified if you choose that option. If you are planning to volunteer, it is important that sign up in advance by filling out the form below, or by calling or emailing, so the DC office can coordinate outreach teams.
You can also make arrangements to volunteer at your convenience, both in terms of the time and day, and the place. If you can’t come into the office, an outreach volunteer can meet you in your neighborhood or by your job, whatever is convenient. You can also volunteer in the office at any time. In the comments section at the bottom, you can write a note about what you would like to do.
Plus, flyers, posters and stickers are available to be picked up at the A.N.S.W.E.R. office at 1247 E St. SE and can be printed from the A.N.S.W.E.R. website. Check your email for future schedules of flyering and postering throughout July, August and September!
