New York Citywide Rally:
Bring the Troops Home Now!
The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition endorses and is mobilizing for a citywide antiwar rally, this Sunday, July 31, at 2pm in Marcus Garvey Park. The demonstration was initiated by the Troops Out Now Coalition and the Harlem Tenants Council. If you would like to go to the rally with us, meet at the new A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition office at 1pm (located nearby, at 2295 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd., between 134th St. and 135th St.) To get to the office, take the 7th Avenue subway trains 2, 3 or the 8th Avenue B/C local to 135th Street. - A new flyer called "Why We are Marching" is now available in English and Spanish that can be copied on the back of the September 24 flyer.
- Also available are flyers for other cities organizing transportation to Washington DC or holding joint actions on September 24.
