The U.S., France (the former colonizer of Syria) and Britain are aggressively seeking regime change in Syria. The Bush administration, pretending to be champions of “democracy” in Lebanon and Syria, have launched a massive disinformation campaign designed to isolate and demonize the Syrian government.  Washington has, at the same time, stepped up its campaign against Iran.

This public forum will be an opportunity to hear a first-hand report from Syria, analysis of Washington’s real objectives and strategy, and implications for the entire Middle East.

Speaking will be Richard Becker, West Coast Coordinator of the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition, who traveled to Syria, Dec. 11-18, 2005.

A discussion period will follow the presentations.
