Tell Karl Rove: |
|
Rove is a criminal. He, along with Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, should be on trial for carrying out a war of aggression in Iraq, and implementing a system of torture, secret prisons, racial and religious profiling, and massive spying on the people of this country.

A Special Prosecutor has now been appointed to prosecute Bush-era crimes. Rove is at the center of the criminal acts of the Bush Administration.
Rove, Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to former President George W. Bush, will be speaking on September 16 at a President’s Forum with Goucher College President Sanford J. Ungar.
Rove received $40,000 to speak at the University of Iowa, where people heckled him and tried to carry out a citizen’s arrest for his war crimes. With tuitions skyrocketing, why should any university pay one penny to this war criminal or even allow him to take a step on campus?
Rove was a key player in the White House Iraq Group established eight months prior to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, and charged with developing a strategy for publicizing the White House’s assertion that Iraq posed a threat to the United States. They lied to the people and to Congress about the “need” for this war. They lied, and hundreds of thousands died.
Based on data included in a Johns Hopkins study published in the Lancet medical journal in 2006, as many as 655,000 Iraqis had perished as a result of the U.S. invasion. Three years later, that number has undoubtedly risen by hundreds of thousands more, especially since 2006 and 2007 were the deadliest years for Iraqis.
Absolutely nothing can justify these atrocities, and it is the people’s obligation to demand that Bush administration officials, including Karl Rove, be prosecuted, indicted and put on trial for their crimes.
End the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan now!
