We have finished!

Starting last January, volunteers throughout the DC area participated in a major effort to spread the word about the March 20th National March to Stop the Wars. By handing out flyers and putting up posters throughout the region, despite freezing temperatures and multiple blizzards, this effort helped to bring out thousands of people on March 20th.

In the 30 days following the demonstration, volunteers once again hit the streets, this time to remove the posters in compliance with the D.C. Municipal Regulations. Volunteers working with the ANSWER Coalition have undertaken a major effort over the last month to remove all of the posters that ANSWER put up. We want to thank everyone who participated in this effort.

Of course, ANSWER-related signs may have been posted by others, and we would have no way of knowing that unless we see or are told about such posters remaining. We will remove those posters also, even if ANSWER volunteers did not post them. If you do see a March 20th poster (or piece of such a poster) that was put up by another individual or organization, please let us know and the ANSWER Coalition will send a volunteer to take it down. You can call us at 202-265-1948 or email us at [email protected] with the location.
