Bus Passenger Drop Off

Buses can drop passengers off on 16th St. NW between H and I Sts. This is the block immediately north of Lafayette Park (where the rally will take place).

Buses must quickly drop off passengers and then proceed to their parking -- please ask your passengers to be prepared to deboard the bus as soon as it stops.

Bus Parking

We recommend that buses park at Union Station. This location is in Washington, D.C., about two miles from the White House. The address is Located at 30 Massachusetts Ave. NE in Washington, D.C., 20002. (The maximum height for bus parking is 12 feet 5 inches.)
 
Reservations are not required and increase the cost of the space, but they are recommended since the lot does sometimes fill up.
 
Without a reservation, bus parking is $30 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, plus $20 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 am. Payment can be in cash or with a credit card.
 
With a reservation, it is $60 a day. To make a reservation, email [email protected] with the following information: date, arrival and departure times, number of buses, and contact information. You will receive an invoice by email and you must pay by credit card by Friday, August 1.
 
Access: Entrance is on the back side of Union Station off H Street.
 
The phone number for the parking garage at Union Station is 202-898-1950. They are open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday for more information. Their Saturday number is 202-834-0272 if you need day-of assistance.
 
Cars and vans: There are many parking lots in the White House area in which cars can park. Some of these lots also take 15-passenger vans. There is street parking, but it is limited and meters do not have to be paid on Saturdays. If you are parking on the street, please read all parking signs carefully and check for “emergency no parking signs.” Parking in a lot will most likely be easier and more convenient.

After the Rally

Following the rally, bus passengers should take the Red Line Metro from Farragut North to Union Station, where the buses will be parked.
