Dear Mr. Gabay,

I am writing to you on behalf of the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) with regards to allegations of racism against non-white patrons of your place of business, Continental Bar. We are certain that you are aware of the many complaints against Continental Bar, including Internet review boards, blogs and facebook pages with eyewitness accounts of your disrespectful staff and prejudiced door policy.

Members of the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition would like to meet with you to resolve this matter in a collaborative fashion. They request that the Continental Bar management take the following actions to show its good faith toward a diverse clientele:

· Post the following statement on the bar’s main website, accessible from the home page:
“The Continental Bar does not discriminate against any patron based on race, sex, national origin, sexual or gender orientation, or any other federally protected categories. The bar staff and management welcome patrons of all backgrounds and actively promotes tolerance on its premises.”

· Incorporate monthly theme nights that are aimed at attracting a diverse audience. Support the theme nights with appropriate advertisement and promotion.
· Ensure that the owners, management and staff participate in a reputable diversity and cultural sensitivity training.

As an advocate against racism, I am requesting that you schedule a time to meet with members of the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition to rectify the allegations of racism at your bar.
