ANSWER Coalition invites you to a special fundraising Cuban dinner and presentation on the struggle of the Cuban people.

Our featured speaker, Yohana De Leon, is a photojournalist and ANSWER Coalition organizer who recently returned from Cuba. She and Gloria La Riva, Director of the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five, met with the Cuban 5, visited historical sites, workplaces and spoke to countless workers throughout the country.

Yohana will discuss the ongoing political struggle of the Cuban people as well as the social gains of Cuban socialist construction as felt by the Cuban workers in their daily experience.

*Proceeds from this fundraising dinner will go to cover the cost of this and future trips to Cuba and ongoing solidarity work*

Reception begins at 6 PM and dinner will be served by 7 PM.

$5 covers the cost of a plate of delicious Cuban food. Mojitos and other drinks will be served. Stay after dinner for music, dancing, and solidarity!

Limited parking available at the lot on the southeast corner of 8th and Westmoreland in addition to street parking nearby.
