Dr. James Heredia is Sub-Director and lead researcher of the Global Economy Research Center in Havana, and Associate Professor at the University of Havana. Among her many credentials: Two PhDs, one in Economic Sciences, U. of Havana and at U. of Santiago de Compostela, Spain; an editor at Cuba's World Economic Issues Journal; member, Foreign Policy Experts group of Cuba's Higher Institute for Foreign Relations. She has won many awards, is a published author and has lectured in many countries.
