On Dec. 6, Donald Trump announced that the United States was becoming the first country to recognize Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel and that the U.S. embassy would be relocated to the city. This is an outrageous attack on the rights of the Palestinian people, who rightfully claim Jerusalem as their own capitol. Jerusalem has been occupied by since 1967, when it was seized by Israel in a war of aggression.
In Palestine and all around the world, protesters are taking to the streets. See below for a listing of demonstrations taking place in the United States.
