WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR NOVEMBER 4?

On Saturday, November 4, tens of thousands of people from across the country will gather at 2:00 PM at Freedom Plaza for the National March on Washington for Palestine. We will rally at Freedom Plaza, followed by a march. The address for Freedom Plaza is 1325 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004.

BUS DROP OFF, PICK-UP & PARKING

Bus Drop-off

Buses should drop passengers off at 1350 Pennsylvania Ave NW  This is the block of Pennsylvania Ave NW between 13th and 14th St NW.

Buses must drop off passengers quickly and then proceed to their parking. Passengers should be prepared to deboard the bus as soon as it stops. We will have designated bus greeters to orient passengers just before they deboard.

Bus Pick-up

Following the rally and march, bus passengers can be picked up at the same address, 1350 Pennsylvania NW. The march will end at the White House, which is a 10-15 minute walk away from the bus pick-up. Passengers should take this into account to make sure they are on time for their bus pick-up.

We recommend that buses park at Union Station, about two miles from Freedom Plaza. The maximum height for bus parking is 12 feet 5 inches. We highly recommend reserving a bus parking space ahead of time. You can reserve a space by emailing [email protected] or calling 202-898-1950.

There are many parking lots in the White House area in which cars can park, which we have listed below. 

There is street parking, but it is limited. If you are parking on the street, please read all parking signs carefully and check for “emergency no parking signs.” You may need to pay, even on a Saturday.

The closest metro (subway) stations to the rally site is Metro Center (blue/red/orange/silver lines), Federal Triangle (blue/orange/silver lines), McPherson Square (blue/orange/silver), and Gallery Place/Chinatown (green/red/yellow).

AIRPORTS, BUS AND TRAIN STATION IN DC

AIRPORTS

There are three airports in the Washington DC area. Please see the websites of these airports for information about public transportation and directions.

Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA)

This is the closest airport to D.C. It is located directly on the Metro. Details can be found here.

Washington-Dulles International (IAD)

The Silver Line metro now runs directly to Dulles Airport. Details can be found here.

Baltimore-Washington Airport (BWI)

The best way to get from BWI to the rally site is to take the WMATA Express bus that leaves from the airport and takes you to the Greenbelt Metro Stop. From there, you will want to go to the Gallery Place - Chinatown station where you can transfer to the red line and then exit at Metro Center. Details can be found here

DC airport codes are DCA, IAD and BWI. Some sites also allow you to enter WAS to cover all three.

BUS STATION

Megabus, BoltBus, Greyhound and some other companies operate out of the Union Station parking garage, located at 50 Massachusetts Ave. NE. The red line stop "Union Station" is located inside the building (click here for the Union Station website).

There are several other low-cost bus companies that travel to Washington, D.C., from New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore and other area cities. They drop off at various locations in the D.C. downtown area, all of which are metro accessible (including but not limited to Union Station).
