On Saturday, October 3, the ANSWER Coalition will be hosting LYRICAL REVOLT, a political-artistic space to express oneself through any vocal medium. Join us as we use the power of our words and art to battle the injustices that face the world today.This open mic is dedicated to indigenous and immigrant communities who are resisting white supremacy and the racist colonial legacy that is celebrated on Columbus Day. Native and oppressed people have historically fought subjugation at the hands of their colonizers—now more than ever it is important to fight back against the brutality and injustice of today’s U.S. Empire!

El sábado, 03 de octubre, la Coalición ANSWER estará patrocinando a LYRICAL REVOLT, un espacio político-artístico para expresarse con cualquier medio lírico. Únase con nosotros mientras usamos nuestras palabras y arte para luchar en contra de las injusticias que enfrentan al mundo hoy. Este micrófono abierto estará dedicado a las comunidades indígenas e inmigrantes que están resistiendo la supremacía blanca y el legado colonial racista que se celebra el Día de Colón. Las personas nativas y oprimidas históricamente han luchado contra la opresión en manos de sus colonizadores. ¡Ahora más que nunca es importante luchar contra la brutalidad e injusticia del actual imperio de EUA!
