LA Forum: The real legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

January 23, 2015 at 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Join the PSL for a public forum on the real legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., amidst a new surge in struggle against racist oppression.

The presentations and discussion will cover Dr. Martin Luther King’s criticism of the U.S. economic system, his dedication to ending poverty, his opposition to the Vietnam War, and his view that mass social movements were needed to change society.

Come learn what is absent from the mass media and U.S. government's commemoration of Dr. King, and how his true legacy can help guide the current movement against racist police terror.

Will you come?
