Special Liberation Flicks screening of "Giuliani Time" with director Kevin Keating

Join us for a special presentation of "Giuliani Time" at our next Liberation Flicks Friday August 12th. We will be joined by Director Kevin Keating, who will be available for a Q&A session after the movie. 

"Giuliani Time" is an exceptional documentary that explores the rise of former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani from a schoolboy in Long Island to one of the most repressive Mayors that New York City has ever seen. Using a variety of original interviews and footage, Director Kevin Keating paints a picture of how Mayor Giuliani's policies not only demonized people of color and poor people in the city, but became a model and template for heightened mass incarceration and neoliberalization of our cities across the country.
