For centuries the ruling class has tried to oppress and silence the voice of the people, but we know that they will never succeed. The people united will never be defeated. It is on the backs of current and past national struggles that we stand. We triumph with our resistance and we triumph with our arts.

We celebrate the anti-imperialist and people's struggles all over the world, from the Philippines to the teachers in Oaxaca, to the Black and Puerto Rican liberation struggles here at home. We celebrate the resiliency of the people. Above all for a better world for all of us. We fight today for tomorrow's peace.
