On Saturday, October 2, hundreds of thousands of working people will be rallying together in Washington, D.C., to demand jobs, justice and peace.
The October 2 rally is organized by a broad coalition of labor, civil rights and anti-war organizations, including the ANSWER Coalition. Large numbers of buses are being organized to bring people from across the country, and others are coming by car, plane, train and metro.
The ANSWER Coalition is raising the following demands:
- Full rights for Immigrants!
- All U.S. Troops OUT of Afghanistan and Iraq NOW!
- Money for Jobs and Education – Not War and Occupation!
- Stand against war and racism!

The ANSWER Coalition will be participating in several of the feeder marches and the main rally on Saturday, Oct. 2.
Main rally:
Lincoln Memorial at 12 noon
Feeder marches:
Immigrant rights: Rally at 10am on the West side of the Capitol Building, March at 11am
Anti-war: Gather at 10:30am at 14th St. and Constitution Ave. NW, March at approx. 11:45am
Youth/students and LGBTQ: Rally at 10:30am at Freedom Plaza (14th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. NW), March at 11am
