The ANSWER Coalition endorses this campaign in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza. The Israeli blockade, backed by the U.S. and the European Union, has turned Gaza into a giant open-air prison. It has imposed unspeakable suffering on the Palestinians living there who continue to heroically resist the occupation.
Palestinian American Community Center – Arizona (PACC) and Free Democratic Palestine Movement (FDPM) are raising funds to distribute food parcels and other necessities during the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr celebrations. They are partnering with the Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA) – a registered nonprofit organization in the US, with offices in Palestine – to distribute the food parcels to the families in need.
Each food parcel will give a family rice, beans, lentils, fresh local produce, poultry, and traditional foods made by cooperatives and small businesses led by women.
The ANSWER Coalition stands firmly for the liberation of Palestine and an end to the Israeli apartheid regime that continues to illegally occupy Palestinian land.
