Join revolutionary and author Eugene Puryear for an event dedicated to black history month. Eugene will give a presentation on the legacy of the civil rights movement and place it within the context of Black liberation.

Eugene is a regular contributor to Liberation News and is a leader in the movement against war, racism, and police brutality in his Washington D.C. home. He recently ran an exciting campaign for city council.

He is the author of Shackled and Chained: Mass Incarceration in Capitalist America. The book will be on sale during the event and we will have a book signing afterword.
