The ANSWER Coalition joined thousands of people in the annual San Francisco march honoring the legacy and struggle of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The 1.6 mile march proceeded from China Basin to Yerba Buena Gardens, site of a memorial to Dr. King. ANSWER volunteers carried a beautiful, hand-painted banner and distributed over 1,000 palm cards for the upcoming ANSWER Film Series showing of the inspiring documentary, “Freedom Riders.
