Progressive people from all over the country will be descending on Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2017 to stage a massive demonstration along Pennsylvania Avenue on Inauguration Day.

It is critically important that we keep building a larger grassroots movement against war, militarism, racism, anti-immigrant scapegoating and neoliberal capitalism’s assault against workers’ living standards and the environment.

Thursday's volunteer meeting will also feature a report from ANSWER organizer Norman Clement, who recently returned from two weeks at Standing Rock, his second trip to the scene of mass struggle against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Bus tickets are available from New Haven, Connecticut to the Inauguration Day protest!
The bus to DC will leave at 11:45pm on the night of Thursday, Jan. 19 from New Haven Green at Church St & Chapel St, New Haven. We will return from D.C. the following night and arrive back around 12:30am, Jan 21. All tickets must be purchased in advance and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
